Why isn't the weight dropping off?
Why aren't the muscles building?
Why can't I see my progress?
Are you ready to accept my plea to throw away the scales? Probably not yet. Weigh yourself again, I know I'm not going to stop you.
But in a few weeks you'll get your body fat and tape measurements taken. This is where you should START to see some progress.
(By the way, how are your clothes fitting?)
When you transform your body, you gain muscle to replace body fat. If you feel like the weight isn't dropping of quickly enough, the muscles aren't building quickly enough, or the change is coming too slowly, be patient! You haven't given yourself enough time for YOUR body to adjust.
Remember. Everyone is different. You are different. All you can do is the best YOU can do. Not what your friend is doing, what your workout partner is doing, what your mom is doing or what your husband or wife is doing.
And ONLY you know what your best is.
Be patient, stay the course. The changes are a-comin'!
