“PLANT” FOR SUCCESS
Most people who fail, fall for one moment, and then never come back.
How many times you fall is NOT important. How many times you get up – THAT is where you rise above the rest.
Here are some tips to keep you from falling in the first place.
Preparation is crucial! Prepare to succeed.
At first, I didn’t even realize one of my success strategies. One day I discovered I had baggies of CLAsin my car, Myoplex-Lite packages in my purse, Betagen in my desk drawer, Precision Protein powder in my workout bag. I never gave myself the
opportunity to fail. Any time I had the thought “I forgot my supplements,” they would magically appear.
I didn’t give myself the opportunity to fail.
This strategy I call “Planting” for Success
And it’s not just about food and supplements. At one point I had 3 pairs of workout shoes, 7 t-shirts and 4 pairs of shorts in my car, just as workout insurance policies. You would not believe how many pairs of socks I bought on my way from work to the gym.
Similarly, Gino often worked out in his police uniform – uniform blues, boots and all.
Unpreparedness is NO EXCUSE for missing a meal or missing a workout.
Here are 2 rules of preparedness:
Rule 1: Always be prepared, “plant” for success
Rule 2: When Rule 1 fails, stick to the program anyway!
