Gino’s annual awards banquet was tonight.
At the beginning of the event, a coworker asked me how I was feeling, being that “the crud” has been circling the area. “So much better than this time last year!” was my reply. Last year I was VERY pregnant — within one week of delivering my baby, Dominic.
Several people throughout the evening told me that they were amazed at how quickly I was back to my pre-pregnancy shape. While I can certainly attribute some of it to chasing my one-year-old around, the big reason is that I followed Body-for-LIFE throughout my pregnancy, and continued following it after Dominic’s birth.
Like you, perhaps, I have recently “started from the beginning,” recommitting myself to new goals and a new Body-for-LIFE. A few weeks ago, I went down to my “BFL Basics” book shelf and re-read Body-for-LIFE, cover-to-cover.
If you haven’t read it, you should.
And if it’s been a while since you’ve read it, read it again! After reading it, I am re-energized, re-inspired, re-committed, re-juvenated.
I bet you’ll feel a similar spark and your fitness routine will jump up a notch. Cardio will be a little easier, your eating will be on-track, and you’ll hit your 10’s with enthusiasm.
